Information you choose to share
The discovery form asks for your name and email address, with optional company, WhatsApp, financial estimates, existing systems, working practices and business challenges. Only your name, a valid email address and acknowledgement of this notice are required to submit. Optional answers can be left blank.
Please use estimates and avoid passwords, account credentials, identity numbers, patient records, employee medical details, or personal information about other people. Share detailed operational records only after we agree an appropriate process.
Purpose and recipient
Submitting asks us to use your answers to respond, arrange a discovery conversation and prepare a tailored quote or feasibility report. The form sends your answers to Deon’s inbox at deon@exemplocap.com. Your email is used as the reply address. Submission is not an agreement to purchase and is not a newsletter sign-up.
Access and retention
Business access to enquiry records: Excap only. Excap retains discovery enquiries for 1 year from receipt. If you become a client, records needed for the service agreement are addressed separately in that agreement and any applicable legal recordkeeping requirements.
Hosting and email services necessarily process information to deliver the website and your enquiry. Their operational logs and backup arrangements are separate from Excap’s enquiry-retention period.
Website and delivery services
Website hosting and email-delivery services process information needed to operate the site and deliver your enquiry. External fonts and the launch film are loaded from their hosting services, which receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Those providers may process information outside South Africa; ask us about the arrangements before sharing sensitive business information.
The form keeps unfinished answers in the current page’s memory, rather than saving a draft in browser storage. Closing or refreshing the page can lose those answers. Calculator figures are calculated on the page and are not submitted by the calculators.
Access, correction and deletion requests
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, object to processing, or request deletion where applicable under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Contact Deon using the details above. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Where information must be retained for a lawful reason, we will explain that reason.
